DHL has expanded its air network with an Aerologic route linking the UAE to Asia and Europe. China’s 2010 trade surplus expected to fall sharply
Commerce ministry spokesman Yao Jian stated that China's trade surplus will fall steeply as the renminbi rises against foreign currencies, reported state media. Surpluses narrowed in the first quarter of 2010, with China declaring a US$7.24 billion trade deficit in March. FedEx Trade Networks has opened three additional offices in its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The first Boeing 777 Freighter to enter Qatar Airways' fleet has been placed into service after the Doha-based carrier took delivery of the aircraft on 17 May. Agility's first quarter profit plummets
Kuwait-based global logistics company, Agility has reported a drop in first quarter net profit by 52 per cent from a year ago to KD17.5 million (US$60.1 million) and warned future earnings will suffer from the loss of US military contracts in the wake of fraud charges.
